butterfly mask

I made this one again for just the sake of art starting with the lips but eventually found that I wanted to make more than just that. there are probably a few lines I didn't intend to add because as some know charcoal is a pain to erase. >.>' either way I'm really happy with how this turned out.

this, believe it or not, was made with the medium charcoal for the shading with the color added later, consisting of nupastel covered in a light wash of water. the black is indeed charcoal and you can get the same affect with a very lightly damped brush if you drag it accross the areas you want it to go
overall experiment to get the look you want
I actually found out that A) it's kinda messy and b) it helps the charcoal stay better.
